Applies to all real estate projects, including those launched / bought / sold before 2016 before the introduction of RERA.

OPTIONS TO FILE COMPLAINT 

 

The Government of India provides several options to file a complaint against any grievance:

  1. File complaint online

  2. Call 1800-11-4000 or 14404: any business day between 09:30 am to 05:30 pm (ist) except for national holidays.

  3. SMS on 08130009809

  4. Mobile applications: download NCH App and UMANG App
     

STEP WISE APPROACH TO FILING COMPLAINTS ONLINE

Step 1: Issue notice to the real estate development company: personal & property details required.

  1. Mention details of the project, your property, time period, payments made, sale agreement and the unfair practice carried out by the development company.

  2. We can help you draft the notice.

 

Step 2: File complaint online: after 30 days of issuing notice

If the real estate development company refuses to

  1. accept the notice or

  2. respond to the notice
     

Step 3: Registration of Complaint: Payment of Fees

Be careful to note 

  1. the docket number

  2. the registered mobile number
